what's that word? social...life?
To look at me and Zack you'd almost think that we had a social life! Last night we went bowling with a few of his friends. Personally, I was dreading it, seeing Zack's friends from high school make me realize what a dork my boyfriend actually is. (Because his friends are d.o.r.k.s.!!!) But I actually I had a really good time last night. I bowled a 168! And a 167! How incredible is that! I've never bowled that well before! (And for proof, I also bowled a 101 and 81, those are more typical...) Zack was great, was affectionate and funny and sweet and all, I'm actually glad that we went out.
Today we're running around like crazy (I don't have class, so my Spring Break has begun!) In a few hours we're heading up to his Dad's work by Tysons because we're going to the Verizon (MCI) Center to see QUEEN tonight! Can you fucking believe it! His Dad works for this big corporate law firm and they own a suite there, so we got tickets yetserday. Zack's ecstatic, he loves Queen. I'm going because, well, Zack loves Queen. I'm volunteering in Arlington from 3-6 for the first time tonight, so getting to the Verizon (MCI) Center might be chaotic, but we'll get there eventually.
Tomorrow we're going up to the Balitmore Aquarium to walk around and spend the day up there, since Zack's Spring Break is almost over. I'm actually excited about it, too. I know how obsessive he is about all this stuff so I'm glad that he wants to include me in all of it.
I saw Capote with my Mom yesterday: Sorry, Heath Ledger, I loved you and all in Brokeback Mountain, but Phillip Seymour Hoffman deserved his Oscar. It was an amazing film, the book he was writing during the movie was at Borders, In Cold Blood, so I bought it last night.
I got a job from my boss from Rec last summer, basically telling a bunch of us that if we want our jobs again we've got it (as long as we get the application in on time.) Squee! It was just what I needed to see, I'm dying for my job to start up again.
I should be taking a shower so I can get on the ball today...let's make that happen...
